Working-Class Mr. Ahn’s Unscheduled Visits to Dr. Yeon’s Clinic continues…
⚠️ Just a casual warning – if you’re following along with Asuka and Jen’s fictional arc and delusion interior series, consider yourself warned. Everything under my fanfiction tab is totally fictional. There’s no need to get overly serious about any of it.
Sleep well My share too
Ah yes, this version has been very lightly edited (two sentences or so) but is slightly clearer.
The previous incarnation was born during yesterday’s long dinner break before our presentation.
I didn’t want to chat nonsense with seniors and juniors over a meal for 2 hours, I’d rather spend it spend it gestating delusion. So I did.
I have a fiercely individualistic streak myself hahaha
Version 2:
The two pups squeezed on one sofa, blue light from the tv casting patterns and shadows all around them as their eyes dulled.
The sound had long been dimmed into the barest hum, weaving the fist pumps of ecstatic baseballers, the roars of their fans and the practiced excitement of the commentators into a tapestry of white noise.

Suho went out first, his cheek compressed against Si-eun’s thigh like a warm hotteok.
On occasion he drooled, a sure sign he was asleep and not pretending as he sometimes did for his own unknowable, Suhoesque reasons, but Si-eun didn’t mind.
He had tasted Suho straight from his lips; a small patch of moisture on his thigh was nothing.
Si-eun often hugged a small pillow while watching tv together.
This was to facilitate the tricky bit, which came next: shifting Suho’s head off his thigh and placing it as gently as possible onto the pillow, his thigh substitute.
Si-eun took this as seriously as surgery.
When done, he would then shift Suho in towards the backrest of the sofa, also as gently as possible; he didn’t want Suho to fall out somewhere in the night.
The ritual ended with Si-eun squeezing by Suho’s side.
Despite Si-eun’s best efforts, Suho always woke up during the shifting.
But he had perfect control of his sleep face, and Si-eun had not yet suspected anything.
For Suho, the magic happened right after Si-eun tucked him to the back of the sofa, and just before he lay by his side.
Within this little sliver of twilight were some of the most tender moments Suho ever experienced with Si-eun.
And they only came when Si-eun thought he was asleep.
Sometimes he’s still so shy…Alas there was no other way to archive them but to lock them in his heart.
Often, Si-eun traced Suho’s eyebrows.
Sometimes he very lightly touched the tip of Suho’s nose with his own. Sometimes he kissed Suho’s forehead.
Occasionally he traced Suho’s lips.
This was ticklish as hell and Suho had to pretend to twitch to get Si-eun to stop—it was either that or exploding with laughter in Si-eun’s face and possibly losing all this exclusive sleep therapy.
But it was whenever Si-eun started whispering in his ear that Suho had to remind himself to breathe. His favourites?
“Hyung. Suho hyung.” These were precious nocturnal words that never saw the light of day. Suho hyung had to try his best not to smile.
Or “Stay with me.” And Suho had thought back “Always.”
And once, “My Suho my guardian, I love you so much.” And he was grateful for his closed eyelids that kept his misty eyes a secret.
Suho would wake first, and usually the tv was still switched on.
Then he would rib Si-eun about raising his electricity bill.
Si-eun would reply something about ‘the price of Yeon Clinic visits’.
One small mystery remained for Suho: he had shamelessly given Si-eun full permission to touch him below the waist at all times and all places.
And as their closeness deepened, Si-eun had indeed taken the chance to do so some mornings. But he had never done so at night, and this puzzled Suho.
The truth was simple: Si-eun always wanted Suho to have the sort of deep rest that eluded himself on many nights.
He coveted the peace of sleep and wished it upon the other half of his soul. He refused to grab Suho just for his own selfish fun.
This was also why he always left the tv on.
He worried that a sudden change of ambience would wake his hyung.
And he also wanted to see Suho’s face all the way till fatigue tipped him into dreams.
For that he needed the blue light. He hoped Suho would follow him in, even though it didn’t usually happen.
But he never stopped trying.

Coming in
RIGHT?!?! I saw that illustration and IMMEDIATELY thought of that exact dialogue, that exact line! Hahahaha
“Tonight I’m coming in” and I genuinely wondered if Si-eun actually went through with the “in” part.
And even if he did, I think Suho would’ve gladly “surrendered” – these two pups would do anything to make each other happy.
Though both of them are probably crying internally about needing this much from each other.
Twitter is going absolutely feral over that edit video today.
I saw it this morning and had such a good laugh on my commute to work.
The content editor’s wit is insane 😂 and then Hyun-wook and Director Yoo poured gasoline on the fire.
Though I really hope fans don’t pressure Jihoon into making specific comments or reactions.
Just uploaded the Benjamin video I made last night and now I’m off to hit the pillow.
Going to read through the side dish you made for me as I drift off… ah… it’s so good… 😂
My friend who’s a youth counsellor once told me that in the original, Si-eun finds safety through perfect control – which I obviously agree with.
When I first fell into WHC fever, I’d sometimes wonder: what if that transferred to Suho?
And now it’s birthed into this beautiful arc…
Why isn’t today the weekend already?
Yours
Jen
P.S. In that illustration, the moving centre ajusshis are treating Suho so fondly while he’s carrying furniture – they order gochu jabchae for him and say in dialect, “Eat up, Suho-ya!”
So heartwarming.
Suho and construction is a match made in delusion.
Suho and sweaty firefighting is a close second. I’d set myself alight for him to rescue me.
I found the twitter vid, you’re right, it has set the shipdoms aflame.
And I think Hyunwook really fanned the coals when he tagged Jihoon.
I find to Jihoon to be quite a box of paradoxes.
He seems very carefree yet very private at the same time.
He is also cutesy (just look at that damned bed photoshoot—his shorts are loose and his boxers are exposed, like, are they trying to fry my blood pressure??) and I sense he is dead serious when working.
I have no idea if he will reply on twitter. Maybe he’ll just reply privately to Hyunwook.
I saw 🔗 your YouTube vid on Mantis. Thanks for the shoutout hahaha
I hope Hyunwook gets meatier roles. But I’ll watch anything he is in, even ads…
Also waiting for Jihoon’s Cooking Soldier series and his sageuk movie.
Asuka, about to watch Mantis in 30 mins

Commentary
Yes I do think the pups fell deeper for each other in their 30’s.
It’s so sweet and moving, teen sparks that become 30’s flames. So warm that I need to sprinkle some biting cold water on it 😈 hahaha
J: “I can picture Suho sitting cross-legged reading the newspaper for about an hour while the laundry runs, checking stock market conditions.”
A: Haha so can I.
He sometimes has this ahjussi thing going on doesn’t he? And yet in front of Si-eun he is just a puppy dripping with spontaneous aegyo.
Guys have their testosteronal urges (according to Dr Yeon), so it is not terribly surprising that when girls flirt with Suho in his twenties apart from Si-eun, he reciprocates.
But they soon realize, to their disappointment, he just treats them as living toys.
He doesn’t want a relationship, he doesn’t want their babies, it’s just that they feel nicer than his right hand.
This sometimes ends with him getting slapped, but he is classy enough to hold his tongue and not spit out “we’re adults and it was consensual”, or “you used me just as much” or related bitter content.
Incidentally, Hanya Yanagihara explores something similar in A Little Life, one of the BLs out there that I mentioned in a previous email.
(It’s 700 pages, not so little, and really brutal sometimes, be careful with this one. It was also shortlisted for a Booker Prize, so it’s not just some sex book.)
The main character, Jude, can’t have sexual relationships because of a terrible childhood of repeated rape. So his lover finds ladies outside of their relationship, with the blessing of Jude.
J: “How can you express it like this?
‘His mind had not yet travelled far from sleep…’
A: It’s not that I have a rich imagination – it’s that your writing ability is excellent, making me imagine things naturally.”
I’m sure you can see your interior designs appearing in the boys’ world;
I consider your architectural contributions to be of prime importance for this deluluverse. Your imagination has fed mine, Jennie 🙂
I guess the stuff I read slowly diffuses into how I write.
When I was much younger I thought only to read award-winning books, since, you know, we don’t have infinite time on the earth.
Looking back, I think this was a very suffocating way to explore the literary world. But by this method, I did encounter marvelous writing.
The God of Small Things, A House for Mr Biswas, Vernon God Little, Oryx and Crake, and much more.
If we could see the luminosity of talent, then these formidable authors glow like entire constellations unto themselves.
They are mighty Orion and Leo and Sagittarius.
I feel my offerings are just a little star whose light has somehow reached your eye.
I remain humbly grateful for your praise and readership.
Thanks again for the free parking space at your blog.
Background music also affects how I think hahaha (it’s true! What a flippant person I must be…)
Some of the more sweet bits you may have chewed on were fostered by The Quiet Beauty of Everyday Life, from James Quinn’s piano playlists on YouTube. Like the stuff I watch, my musical tastes are also rather odd and eclectic, spanning about 900 years from Hildegard (a nun, not Buddhist) to 자니 (but that doesn’t mean everything gets a good review; some of the ‘high classics’ are really just shit…)
I’ll surely be listening to something stormy for the upcoming wet weather arcs.
J: “Oh my gosh… Asuka, this is personal experience, right?
(I asked too directly – please forgive my rudeness)
Right. After morning exercise, I was happy but also bitter. That strange bitter-sweet feeling… hahaha”
A: Hahaha nothing to forgive, no worries.
It’s a strange feeling of dissatisfaction. Buddhists call it a subtle dukkha, which is a dissatisfaction that arises even in pleasure and happiness, probably because the good times have to end.
J: “There are actually quite a few places near Suho’s house that do Korean food well.
There are many Michelin restaurants too.
Hot gomtang is good, and doganitang that Suho likes is good too.
Both wasted a lot of protein from the morning so samgyetang would be good.
While eating samgyetang, drinking something similar to soju… probably called “gaoliang liquor” Chinese-style. (You know it?)
One glass of that together makes your whole body hot.
Suho, whose main job is tile and wallpaper work that requires a lot of labour, probably ate often with the “hyungnims” while working.
I can picture Suho putting one chicken leg in Si-eun’s bowl and eating the other leg while making uncle sounds”
A: I must really make this Anguk autumn 2026 happen.
Gaoliang is as strong as whisky, and sometimes stronger. Is it customary to take a shot of this with samgyetang? Sounds perfect for colder weather.
It’s such a Suho-ahjussi thing to do.
J: “With my personal character interpretation, Suho would be really clean.
Working at a charcoal meat restaurant, always smelling like meat, he probably cared about that, and also… he really hated cigarette smell.
That’s probably why he didn’t smoke because he hated the smell, and economically he wouldn’t smoke considering the money that goes into cigarettes.
There’s a brick theory that he’d like going to the laundromat.”
A: I think he’s the clean sort, too.
It’s probably because I have replayed a certain scene of him showering an unhealthy number of times, I have thus developed the impression he showers a lot.
If Si-eun ever smoked and it got detected by Suho, hyung would just tell him to “stop, it’s not good for you.” And I think by sheer force of will—and love—Si-eun would quit the habit on the spot.
J: “Oh, it’s called Kindaichi here. Here it’s called Kim Jeon-il.”
A: Ah haha, this beloved series. My alternate theory is that Kim Jeon-il’s primary problem is supernatural, however his ultra rational mind blinds him to this.
But he needs to explain to himself why every single holiday he goes to ends up in a murder. Someday an old shaman will tell him early in his life he encountered a curse.
That’s ASL’s dark deluluverse for Kim Jeon-il.
J: “If it was Si-eun from that time, I fully think he wouldn’t have tried making any before.”
A: Indeed. And I think he still doesn’t make any shakes for himself. Hyung does it for him.
J: “My friend does”
A: Exactly haha
Dr Yeon isn’t really lying to his young patient…
J: “Actually, the answer is simple
Because he likes Suho so much.”
A: Yes. They need to hold each other tight. A storm’s on the horizon…🌊
Hahaha
Asuka, plotting dark dreams for two
Commentary 2
Hi Asuka,
So why invest time in talking nonsense when I could be alone, consuming Michelin dishes like yours?
‘blue light from the tv’
Personal experience intrudes again, but isn’t there something profoundly soothing about late-night conversations with someone you love, whisky-drunk, blue TV light washing over everything?
That sofa the pups nearly fused into must’ve been small for Suho’s frame – his long legs probably dangled off the edge.
You think he didn’t imagine squeezing onto it with Si-eun when he bought it at IKEA?
‘the fist pumps of ecstatic baseballers’
The image of a baseball game’s remnants murmuring through the quiet – so romantic it hurts (crying). One of my delulu bricks, Si-eun has zero interest in sports (especially team sports), and Suho would never go to a stadium.
He’d rather watch TV at home with Si-eun.
This extends from canon – Baku is Eunjang’s centre and heart, while Suho (per Director Yoo) “only moves for Si-eun”
I never imagined Suho as socially expansive. That’s why, when deluluversing his career, I landed on tile specialist – solitary, focused work.
My headcanon, Suho dislikes crowds.
‘hotteok’
The actor’s actual face does this too 😂 his cheekbones make him round like hotteok when he smiles. Unbearably cute.
Our favourite photo, him with braces, pearlescent flush near those cheekbones. Looks exactly like soft, warm hotteok. And now it’s pressed against Dr Yeon’s thigh?
My delulu fragments, assembled by your prose, form a cathedral’s stained glass (crying)
‘his lips’
Did their lips touch at the mountain summit too? Reason tells me to calm down, but emotion spirals the imagination hahaha
‘a small pillow’
Another brick somewhere in the delulu pile, Suho, buying a house in his early 30s, would care about interior design for his second-floor space (and for Si-eun returning from Iraq).
IKEA furniture, bedding, cushions – all from IKEA.
Why does the image of these two “suspicious friends” shopping at IKEA together feel so persuasive?
I can see them seriously deliberating over lighting hahaha
(Evidence, well, Suho’s Apple Watch has a square protective case… any man who protects his Apple Watch like that enjoys shopping hahahaha)
This time, too, Si-eun probably just went along – not particularly interested, but Suho wanted to go.
‘Suho’s head’
Every mention of Suho’s “head” makes my heart clench.
Imagining how carefully Si-eun would transfer that potato onto the cushion.
As a doctor, Si-eun probably obsesses over Suho’s neurons, ready to take up the knife himself if anything goes wrong. (Sexy…)
‘surgery’
See? Just mentioned surgery…
The Michelin chef and her devoted repeat customer remain connected hahaha
What I thought was a side dish turned into a full-course meal – your “2nd Floor Suho’s House, Pre-Dawn Happenings” chapter (just coined that).
Reading it after receiving your email today, the ladies chasing young potato were probably all needy.
Who wouldn’t want to devour that potato? Monopolise him, engage him.
But the potato stays impassive. How piss them off.
Before the hurricane hits, these reunited adult dogs live in near-newlywed bliss.
What lets this “suspicious” friendship maintain such harmony, beyond their shared history, is that neither wants anything from the other.
They’ve never gauged who loves more. Never will. Don’t even register the need.
‘fall out’
Just imagining Suho falling keeps Si-eun awake – trauma from the past, stubbornness about treatment breeding paranoia.
It’s deeply romantic, yes.
But also, it’s young Si-eun’s pattern – only feeling secure when he’s perfected the environment, ensured total safety.
Didn’t know it would lead to this beautiful arc back then haha but that mechanism, needing perfect control (perfect circles on exams, perfect grades) to feel stable, transferred entirely onto Suho.
In my analysis posts I called it “unhealthy friendship dynamics”…
but the deluluverse is another matter as always 😂
If Dr Yeon heard Suho’s next project involved high-rise exterior work, he’d immediately drown himself in emergency trauma protocols.
(Statistics show construction workers at elevation comprise significant ER admissions here…)
‘The ritual’
Wrote extensively above about Si-eun’s safety-formation rituals, and Chef names it exactly that – “ritual”
‘Si-eun traced Suho’s eyebrows’
Asuka hahaha
I mentioned this casually once, zero ulterior motive, and it manifested!!!
So romantic.
And I love Suho’s classicism – keeping it locked in his heart rather than voicing it, worried Si-eun might feel shy.
(Si-eun’s milkshake volume is in there too, right?)
‘eyebrows nose forehead lips’
Friend, do you know a vocalist named ‘Taeyang’ from Big Bang?
He has a classic song called “Eyes, Nose, Lips” – probably in my top 10 K-pop tracks.
Your lines felt exactly like those lyrics.
Now I understand why Suho perpetually malingers as a chronic patient – he loves the treatment too much.
If I had a “beauty” like that treating me. (actually, I think Si-eun leans handsome while Suho leans pretty – Suho’s face has cheong-soon/청순, which means young and pure, but finding the perfect English equivalent for video captions was difficult), I’d never want to wake either.
‘Hyung. Suho hyung’
Had to stand up, drink water, subdue the chills 😂
It sounds like whining, like sulking. And Dr Yeon does this nocturnal whimpering not even in front of Suho, but when he’s asleep…
‘his best not to smile’
If it were me I’d have bolted upright and smacked a hundred kisses on him.
‘I love you so much’
Could almost hear Si-eun’s husky voice as BGM.
‘the price of Yeon Clinic visits’
Dr Yeon never charged Mr Ahn a dime, but the transaction completes here.
‘Si-eun always wanted Suho to have the sort of deep rest that eluded himself on many nights’
Sadly, the channel owner removed it but there was a brilliant video cross-editing Si-eun watching sleeping Suho while unable to sleep himself.
Lyrics, “Sleep well, for my share too”
I can’t sleep, but I want you to.
So many whc fans share nearly identical interpretations, swimming together in this delulu ocean across the Pacific.
‘tv on’
Si-eun would absolutely be this considerate.
So many men are Neanderthals about thoughtfulness, but Si-eun can manage it.
Not quite Beomseok-level (remember? Oh Beom had Suho’s part-time schedule memorised… though that was because it was Suho), but delicate and considerate.
Now imagine those delicate hands holding a knife.
‘He hoped Suho would follow him in, even though it didn’t usually happen’
Buried my face in my hands at the final line. Read it hastily commuting – couldn’t properly absorb it… This chapter alone stands as an exquisite short story.
The patient receiving treatment was the foreshadowing.
(Food so delicious it brings tears of ecstasy) Dr Yeon knew all along – the patient’s desperate twitching to suppress smiles.
As a doctor, he’d be expert at reading pulses. How could he miss Suho’s accelerating heartbeat? Breathing distance apart? Even non-doctors can tell when their beloved feigns sleep.
How could a professional miss the signals – trembling lips fighting laughter, flushing face, laboured breath, rising and falling chest?
So romantic it’s agonising
Feels criminal to monopolise Chef’s full-course meal.
I’ve been linking youtube comments and posts, but I want to actively recruit more deluluverse navigators.
Storm clouds gathering – may they grip each other’s hands tighter huhuhu…
Suho’s never reacted sharply or sarcastically to Si-eun,
but when the monsoon drenches both pups to the bone, a single line of sarcasm flashed through my mind,
“Didn’t know you enjoyed giggling like schoolgirls”
Happy Jen with a head full of tangled spaghetti strands
P.S.
Read many reviews about Si-eun’s “I understand” to Beomseok in the final episode. Analyses claiming it meant “I know you loved Suho”, I agree.
Si-eun understood Beom’s heart.
As you phrased it, wanting to matter to Suho, that final kick a twisted bid for acknowledgement given his background.
When Beomseok said “You should understand me” without explaining, Si-eun already knew everything.
Currently working on bricks for what kind of love Dr Yeon might feel toward the adult, Beomseok, if any.
Jen
Classicism
Hi Jennie,

J: He’d rather watch TV at home with Si-eun.
This extends from canon – Baku is Eunjang’s centre and heart, while Suho (per Director Yoo) “only moves for Si-eun”
A: I think this is so true. I suppose Suho is what they call these days a ‘sigma male.’
He doesn’t need or want a pack following. He just happened to effortlessly dominate Byeoksan’s hierachy because of his charisma and ability to enforce respect for his personal space.
I think he spots in Si-eun a kind of potential sigma fellowship, which eventually blossoms into something that broke millions of hearts worldwide.
I think Si-eun is some sort of sigma too, but he is affection starved and really needs true friends. He does not want a pack following either.
Alas Si-eun is poorly physically conditioned, looks like a harmless potato, has a brain that makes other boys jealous, and can be unapologetically blunt (I remember how he ‘thanked’ Gotak when they first met haha), so he gets picked on unlike Suho.
Sigma does not mean invincible.
Beomseok wants to be an alpha. Even if he were to achieve this (and in deluluverse, he might), there is this fundamental difference in their natures;
I’m not convinced Suho could ever be as close to Beomseok as he is to Si-eun, even if the incident never happened in filmverse and they carried on paddling happily as a trio in a canoe.
J: Another brick somewhere in the delulu pile, Suho, buying a house in his early 30s, would care about interior design for his second-floor space (and for Si-eun returning from Iraq).
A: This is really such a cute and plausible scene hahaha
I think I will write about it someday.
J: What lets this “suspicious” friendship maintain such harmony, beyond their shared history, is that neither wants anything from the other.
They’ve never gauged who loves more. Never will. Don’t even register the need.
A: What a beautiful analysis ♥️ I’ll remember it.
J: But also, it’s young Si-eun’s pattern – only feeling secure when he’s perfected the environment, ensured total safety.
Didn’t know it would lead to this beautiful arc back then haha but that mechanism, needing perfect control (perfect circles on exams, perfect grades) to feel stable, transferred entirely onto Suho.
In my analysis posts I called it “unhealthy friendship dynamics”…
A: You know, I know a couple kind of like that. The husband actually.
He’s an odd person, fiercely independent also, but he checks in on his wife now and then at random times, because she’s a bit of a bimbo and a klutz, in a cute way.
He’s not controlling, he lets her do what she wants, but I sense he’s deathly afraid something has happened to her if she doesn’t pick up her phone.
He’s cancelled his work before (the two work in the arts) just to check if she is alive, because she didn’t pick up her phone or text him back. I saw this with my own eyes.
I think Si-eun is like that, but with much more pre-planning to turn the tide of safety statistics to his side.
His prime directive is to keep Suho safe. (At least in deluluverse. But I can fully envision filmverse Si-eun also turning out this way.)
It’s obsessive, and therefore unhealthy, but it’s also really kind of sweet 😂
The question is why Beomseok’s obsession feels different? Why is it ickier and creepier?
J: And I love Suho’s classicism – keeping it locked in his heart rather than voicing it, worried Si-eun might feel shy.
(Si-eun’s milkshake volume is in there too, right?)
A: Oh but of course hahahaha
Hyung’s about 4% envious, but mostly he doesn’t want Si-eun to feel self conscious.
On the other hand, Dr Yeon understands length, girth, liquid ounces and stuff like that are genetic and don’t change by rubbing the genie’s lamp and wishing really hard, contrary to Mr Ahn’s suggestion that he do some more.
But Si-eun still feels a little pouty nonetheless whenever hyung cracks one of his sausage jokes.
J: Friend, do you know a vocalist named ‘Taeyang’ from Big Bang?
He has a classic song called “Eyes, Nose, Lips” – probably in my top 10 K-pop tracks.
Your lines felt exactly like those lyrics.
A: Oh Bigbang was from my time hahaha, let me detour and squeal a bit.
G Dragon was and still is an icon, what amazing longevity.
And I remember laughing snarkily when I saw a young boy with an adorable tooth gap whoop his ass in a crying competition;
I watched that vid when it first came out.
About 16 years later when I went to reverse check ‘who is this Park Jihoon guy?’ thanks to his mesmerizing performance on Weak Hero, and that old 1 v 1 with G Dragon resurfaced in my research, I think the neighborhood heard me scream “That was him?!”.
Much more privately I thought, “Oh my god, someone became hot…”
I loved sunny Taeyang and his wholesome vibe.
He’s shirtless all the time, but he feels so harmless hahaha Yes I know Eyes Nose Lips. Thanks for the comparison, I’m really honored.
I loved TOP. If GD was the leader, TOP was the ace.
I think I must have watched 71 Into the Fire like, 71 times haha. He had a low point, but I was so happy to see him back in Squid Game.
I really loved Daesung, especially in Family Outing. He had this whole cute dork vibe, and a smile so wide it crinkled his eyes. He never twinkled quite as brightly again after his accident, sigh…
But the maknae. The damned maknae. Every time I think of the group I am reminded of the unspeakable. What the hell have you done Lee Seung-hyeon? Why did you do it? 🥲
Ugh…wait wait… calming breath 1234 4321…buddhist…buddhist….
It’s nice how you have contrasted the different beauties of Jihoon and Hyunwook.
A question that floats around in shipdoms: is Si-eun or Suho more desirable?
Honestly I think they are only complete when they are together, so I must take them both.
I’ll eat the hotteok drizzled with honey. The potato will be oiled with butter and baked with love. Ok, this is getting me a bit hot.
1234 4321…1234 4321…
J: Sadly, the channel owner removed it but there was a brilliant video cross-editing Si-eun watching sleeping Suho while unable to sleep himself.
Lyrics, “Sleep well, for my share too”
I can’t sleep, but I want you to.
So many whc fans share nearly identical interpretations, swimming together in this delulu ocean across the Pacific.
A: Awww looks like we’re all equally sick haha
It’s really special to see other fans sharing the same hopes, feeling the same pain. And your channel has certainly done its part helping us fans connect. Thank you Jennie.
Seriously, “sleep well, for my share too” is a gorgeous phrase.
J: Dr Yeon knew all along – the patient’s desperate twitching to suppress smiles.
A: From my unauthoritative director’s notes, yes I think most of the time Dr Yeon is aware, or at least highly suspicious that Mr Ahn is faking sleep, that’s why there’s the line “pretending as he sometimes did for his own unknowable, Suhoesque reasons”.
Suho overestimates his sleep face acting. It’s also difficult to control twitchy Little Suho’s appreciation of Dr Yeon’s sleep therapy, and he is rather noticeable.
J: Currently working on bricks for what kind of love Dr Yeon might feel toward the adult, Beomseok, if any.
A: There is a soft spot that Si-eun has for Beomseok.
Even when Si-eun’s anger was at its white hottest, if at that moment Beomseok’s father had entered the classroom and tried to stomp on his prone son’s face, would Si-eun have stopped that beast? I highly suspect so.
They shared camaraderie (comrade love), and a brotherly love, and a friendship love. There’s gratefulness mixed in as well.
Beomseok really did risk a stabbing by Gilsoo, and a clubbing by his monstrous father, just to save Suho.
He did this thoughtlessly, without heed for himself. I think Si-eun acknowledges this.
Ah…. So deliciously complicated…
Yours,
Asuka, hungry for hotteok and fries.
