๐ Working-Class Mr. Ahnโs Unscheduled Visits to Dr. Yeonโs Clinic continuesโฆ
Perfect exorcism ritual
Monday and Tuesday are my personal bogeymen, but grinning like an idiot at your email before bed was the perfect exorcism ritual.
I’ll give it a proper read tomorrow on my commute, so I’ll be back to you soon.

Asuka, brace yourself for good news first, HAHA
Would you believe my blog traffic just quadrupled? Someone must’ve shared our arc on Tumblr.
I’m picturing sisters in sweltering countries already flushed and frantically fanning themselves while reading, making those hot climates even steamier hahahaha
Thanks to those oil money clicks, I might actually cover my $300 blog maintenance costs lol
It’s all thanks to you, dear
Oh, and I renovated the blog.
Fixed all those mobile errors that were probably driving everyone mad, plus ditched that ridiculously Umbridge-esque censorship plugin.
By the way, Asuka, I’m not sure if I mentioned this in any video…
Reading Director Yoo’s interview, where he said ๐ he enjoys watching Hyun-wook suffer and bleed in shows, made me think, ‘guess it wasn’t just my twisted taste after all…’ hahahaha
So just imagining Suho’s humiliated profile when he’s forced to kiss Oh Beom’s wide feet already has my heart singing Friday songs ๐
Adding more below!
Your wireless bricklayer, Jennie
Post-coma Suho and Si-eun
Aigo, friend, totally forgot to attach those photos.
Twitter’s algorithm keeps shoving random stuff onto my timeline, including some seriously talented fan artists. I went through this whole account, and what I saw (maybe you’d agree?) was exactly how I’d imagined post-coma Suho and Si-eun, like someone plucked them straight from my head and put them on paper.
Dr Yeon Si-eun has become way more emotionally expressive than before (love that growth) and socially confident, but early-20s med student Si-eun was always on edge about Suho’s safety and would just stare at him with those intense eyes, like he was trying to memorise every detail.
The artist nailed that exact Si-eun-esque look perfectly. The talent out there is just insane.
Past midnight, and my brain’s going numb… Why do I keep hitting send by accident? Sorry about these fat fingers!
This is my favorite photo from the Byeoksan days.
I think Suho must’ve taken it. In his hyung eyes, both boys probably looked like little kids he wanted to protect..
If you want to see more from this fan artist…
(And post-coma Suho living his second life in his early 20s โ when he was doing those modelling side gigs to buy Si-eun a scooter. Just beaming with that innocent smile, completely oblivious to who’s pulling strings behind the scenes…)
Have a great rest of your day.
Jen

Hi Jennie,
Congrats on 4x blog traffic! Haha if my steamy soup contributed in any way to this, I am most honored and delighted! And it gives me the perfect reason to concoct some more of this brew.
Iโm always happy to stumble upon new WH photos.
Itโs bittersweet to think of that picture of Beomseok with Si-Eun as from a happier time, when the canoe for three hadnโt sunk.
And thanks for sending me on a most wondrous exploration of … works. They say a picture paints a thousand words. No doubt … drawings paint more.
I can clearly see how each drawing has some kind of vignette behind it.
I am so smitten with their talent!
Yours,
ASL, happily lost in pictures
Hi Asuka,
Waiting for my train at the usual cafe, when the quiet owner asked why I’m always grinning at my iPad.
Probably thinks I’m texting some boyfriend * cackles *
I’ve been watching oil money trickle into my blog (Maybe, could cover $300 for maintenance of the site) – shabbier than Suho’s grandma’s house , but who cares about exteriors when love blooms inside?
Traffic’s surging from the US, India, China.
Some Suho angel must’ve shared your work on Tumblr. (Thank you so much!)
Can’t track specifics due to privacy settings, and I might be overreaching here, but your Yeon Clinic saga already reads like a complete novella.
The prose, sensitivity, and wit deserve a proper fiction platform beyond just our little hot-country sisterhood.
Gum
Re-reading the bit about Dr Yeon buying 101 guinea pigs for dental practice on my commute.
My imagination runs wild picturing him hunched over his desk before Mr Ahn’s walk-in, secretly practising with toys – his curved back and profile, those meticulous finger movements.
Pure perfection haaaa…. * cackles *
That passage where he worries about hurting Mr Ahn with the tartar pick?
Choosing a “best soup” feels pointless since all your concoctions are flawless, but I absolutely adore that section.
Imagining Dr Yeon actually removing tartar with gentle precision just melts me.
In your soup, Mr Ahn turned out to be a chronic hypochondriac with pearl-white teeth, rewarding the doctor with that lip collision, but if there’d been actual tartar, Si-eun would’ve concentrated completely – I’m obsessed with his focus – to remove it.
Picture him checking for gum inflammation, thumb pressed inside, methodically examining Suho’s gums with gentle pressure… tension absolutely rising * cackles *
Suho wouldn’t feel pain, just playfully mumble “Sunsangnim(Dr.), I haf toothh acik” with that aegyo!!
You captured those adorable boys so so so perfectly โฅ๏ธ
The way Suho teasingly calls him “Si-eun-ssi” and later “Dr Yeon” still dripping with the same affection.
During my blog renovation, I’ve been re-reading your magical soup that won’t cool for a year. Planning to savour each piece this holiday.
Still think it’s a shame that only we hot-country sisters get this feast, though Chinese readers are surprisingly numerous – maybe my Twitter punch lines archiving your saga are the pipeline?
Nomikai
Watched Misaeng around a decade ago.
Absolutely shocked how perfectly it captured Korea’s rigid corporate hierarchy. Heard about Japan’s drinking culture from colleagues – so that’s nomikai!
What amazed me most was learning that the creator never held a corporate job.
Artists are incredible – depicting Jang-grae’s copying machine struggles so transparently despite never experiencing that suffocating culture.

Though you’ve left the stage, your skills prove invaluable for daily survival
If I face another mandatory dinner, I’m definitely YouTubing diaphragmatic breathing techniques – does Suho master this breathing, too?
Rainbow Neanderthal
That phrase absolutely killed me HAHAHA
Still feels miraculous that people visit my tiny channel. Apart from a few crude comments, any engagement feels precious, really.
I remember replying: “This channel serves my thoughts, not specific audiences. You claim I say nothing in 7 minutes, but thanks for watching it all ๐”
Then another subscriber asked why every WHC character gravitates toward Si-eun, and someone commented, “Why do you keep making characters gay?” Never stressed or hurt by this – I’ll never cater to particular audiences.
Really hope Director Yoo ignores demographics if S3 happens.
Read, he made S2 more “accessible” for international viewers.
Absolutely unnecessary – overseas fans already know sea cucumbers and ginseng functions! They explore local wordplay, cultural contexts, and even why three different social classes attend the same school.
No need to dilute anything.
As you brilliantly put it, viewers interpret through their own lenses and lighting – that layered approach works beautifully.
Buddism
Still can’t guess which Buddhist text you bought! Scriptures perhaps?
What led you to Buddhist agnosticism?
I took a university religion course once where the professor said that assuming God’s existence saves sanity rather than infinite regression.
Though religiously unaffiliated, I believe in divine intervention – those unexplainable moments like Suho’s awakening.
Know actress Jeon Do-yeon? Cannes winner – Korea’s Meryl Streep.
Her film “Mil-Yang” explores God’s ultimate challenge, forgiving her child’s killer.
She refuses.
Could I forgive my own enemies?
This year, forgiveness haunts my thoughts constantly.
WHC discussions about “Will Suho forgive Beomseok?” feel equally persistent as romantic interpretations.
If this were real, Suho would probably tell Beomseok coldly, “Just forget it” and walk away. That’s quintessentially him.
Knowing he can’t affect Suho anymore would devastate Beomseok further – opening those dark iron doors.
My counsellor friend recommended WHC three years ago.
She works with teenagers in far worse situations than the show depicts.
Common patterns like, kids raised by grandparents or divorced parents rush into marriage upon adulthood. Many of my friends fit this pattern.
So our deluluverse fantasy – Suho and Si-eun cohabiting six years in grandma’s shabby house seeking stability – might not stray far from reality Haha
Our Yeon Clinic saga’s “Room of Requirement” concept springs from the cultishly revered surgeon Dr Yeon suddenly returning to Korea, pivoting to family medicine for a private clinic ๐ Inspired by Dr Watson – from Iraqi battlefield surgery to London GP practice after marrying Mary.
The clinic desk drawer holds sepia wooden frames, disguised dental tools, and a transparent cap hidden in the bottom corner * cackles *

Bonding
Director Yoo created that viral dress, with changeable colours depending on lighting and preference. Love your definition!
Suho and Si-eun’s bond, especially.
My small channel’s comment section always overheated on this topic. Defining their connection feels futile – better left as that multifaceted masterpiece.
This profound discussion we’ve shared about their love will warm my heart like soup for ages.
Truly valuable and meaningful.
One Week
Collecting dark interior sand for Chuseok brickwork, and I keep imagining Beomseok’s final plea: just one week with Suho.
Last time, I read about India’s last king – after his dynasty fell, he lived as a London taxi driver (If I’m not wrong).
When the Indian government offered one wish, he asked for a week in his childhood palace.
Spent seven days stroking every wall, knowing he’d never touch them again.
This overlaps with Spielberg’s AI ending – aliens reviving the mother for just one precious day.
Maybe Suho would grant Oh Beom’s request.
Seeing Si-eun’s non-resistance, then, kissing those humiliating feet, then, learning one touch of his jellylike lips could magically unlock 13 years of captivity…
Perhaps Beomseok’s final wish would be one week together – headlocks, face-to-face phone gaming, billiards, like before.
Especially hearing “Oh Beom-ah” again.
(Eyes misting just thinking about it ๐)
Your weekend-awaiting wireless bricklayer,
Jennie
Suho working construction
Ah, my fat fingers hit send again – I’ve got a chronic condition.
If you’re curious about any dialogue in those fan art pieces, let me know and I’ll interpret.
You have genius-level empathy beyond most mortals, so you probably catch the vignettes without reading the text, but just in case!
I was absolutely stunned looking at that fan artist’s work.
The post-coma Suho and Si-eun I’d imagined in my head were right there sharing Melona (even this artist put Melona in Suho’s hands – definitely Korea’s national ice cream, haha).
She even drew Suho working at a construction/moving centre, wow, I swear I’d never seen this artist’s work before my deluluverse, yet girls swimming in the same sea dream remarkably alike HAHAHAHA
There’s this scene where Suho’s working construction/moving centre with the older guys (agerssi/hyungnim), and they find this young man so endearing(๊ธฐํนํ๋ค), they offer to buy him ‘gochu-japchae’ – that same dish Suho casually bet on when they went billiards, loser pays.
This artist also explores a deluluverse where Woo-young harbours serious interest in Suho. Intriguing. Watching ep 7, I totally felt Woo-young’s years of an inferiority complex toward Suho.
This artist shares my taste – loving Si-eun’s thorai quality and masculine side.
I’m not into Si-eun as the Chinese phrase for ‘young, fresh, feminine meat’ (โxiวo xiฤn rรฒuโ?) hahaha
I prefer the version who wants to please his favourite person in the world (and please himself too), willing to be the one who takes the initiative * cackles *
Even if he’s two inches shorter in certain departments * cackles *
Jen already, Friday mood
